Combining poetically traditions, politics, metaphors and symbols with the human body, I approach the themes that are not inherently refuted or challenged -The conceptual foundation of self-conflicts with their personal and external boundaries-, Enables experimentation with notions of my personal weaknesses, cultural entanglement and the dissent between aesthetics and politics.
As an artist, female artist, as an Iranian female artist, I examine and present gender and identity in my work. I do this by exploring the paradoxical concepts and double-faced features of femininity and masculinity / ugliness and beauty / pain and pleasure / power and strength in a metaphorically way.
