Tim Shaw, RA

Tim Shaw RA (b. 1964, Belfast) is a British sculptor whose work draws on myth, ritual and the tensions of the world around him. Elected a Royal Academician in 2013, his figures — modelled in wax, sacking and straw, then cast into bronze — inhabit a space that is at once primitive and other-worldly.
