Bird in a Cage questions ‘De Rerum Natura’ (On the nature of things). The story started as a love letter, later it evolved into its current form. It is a fable about a man and a bird and runs for approximately 7 minutes. However, to some extent the story is a ruse, as the piece explores the conventions of video art, story telling and timelessness.
